Adaptor cable with 4 Locking Banana type (speaker terminal) connectors connected to a Neutrik Female 4 pin XLR using thicker 22AWG Mogami Oxygen Free Copper cable.
This type of adaptor is used when attempting to gain the best performance from hard to drive headphones using an amplifier meant for speakers.
Common headphones people have achieved great results with, but not limited to:
- Various Hifiman models such as the HE-6
- Sennheiser HD800 Series
- Dan Clark Audio Stealth and Expanse
Please take precautions when using this adaptor cable.
Traditional speaker amplifiers have much higher outputs than a headphone amplifier.
Turn volume all the way down prior to connecting adaptor and headphones.
Lack of care can damage your headphones and your hearing.
